There is nothing difficult here. Connect the AI you already use (ChatGPT or Claude) once, and from then on you just talk to it. Copy the boxed messages on this page into your AI, top to bottom, and you will go from searching 200,000+ Japanese products to placing a test order — without writing a line of code.
By the end of this page: you can ask your AI "show me 10 kitchen items that are in stock" and get a product list back. Ask "add these 3 to the cart and place the order" and it completes a test order.
orosy_demo_, everything on this page is charge-free. The portal UI is in Japanese — the English guide walks you through every step.Treat your key like a password. Don't show it to anyone.
What should I type in "key name (optional)"? — It's just a memo so you can tell your keys apart later; it doesn't change anything. Names like "for Claude" or "testing" make them easier to manage. Leaving it blank is fine too.
"Connecting" means giving your AI one-time permission to use orosy's sourcing tools. It's like installing one new app on your phone: do it once, and afterwards you just talk. You don't need to learn what anything is called — hand it to the AI, as follows.
| Item | Value |
|---|---|
| URL | https://wholesale-api.orosy.com/mcp |
| Auth header | Authorization: Bearer <your key> |
Replace <your key> with the key you issued in Developer Settings.
Honestly, the most reliable approach is to not try to understand the steps. Copy the message below, send it to your AI, and do what it says, one step at a time. Don't aim for perfect on the first try — push back with "make it simpler" or "do it for me" and you will get connected.
Copy this and send it first:
I want to use orosy, a "wholesale sourcing API", from you (the AI). I'm not technical, so please just get it working for me.
If you can set it up yourself, go ahead. When you need me to do something, avoid jargon and tell me exactly one thing — the next button to press or screen to open. When I reply "done", move to the next single step. Don't explain many things at once.
[Connection details]
- Method: MCP (remote / HTTP)
- URL: https://wholesale-api.orosy.com/mcp
- Auth: set the "Authorization" header to "Bearer <your key>"
Only rewrite <your key> with your own key before sending. Then simply follow what the AI says.
If you get stuck, send one of these lines as-is:
The trick is to push back freely with "I don't get it" and "you do it". Letting the AI handle it gets you there faster than trying to understand.
✅ You're connected when the AI says something like "connected" or "orosy tools are available." You can double-check in Step 1 below.
If you know your way around, go ahead — every method uses the same connection details above.
From your AI app's settings (no code)
Bearer <your key>)Menu names vary slightly by tool and version. Note that the "custom connectors" in Claude Desktop and claude.ai assume a different connection method (OAuth) and may have no field for entering a header yourself. If you can't find the right menu, sending the "delegate" message above is the surest path. For tools that take a config file, paste this shape:
{
"mcpServers": {
"orosy": {
"type": "http",
"url": "https://wholesale-api.orosy.com/mcp",
"headers": { "Authorization": "Bearer <your key>" }
}
}
}
From the terminal (Claude Code) — one line if you're comfortable with commands:
claude mcp add --transport http orosy https://wholesale-api.orosy.com/mcp \
--header "Authorization: Bearer <your key>"
Afterwards, ask the AI "can you use the orosy tools?" — if it responds, you're done.
Test before connecting — want to confirm it responds before touching your AI? One line. If product data comes back, it works (the q= value is キッチン — "kitchen" — URL-encoded; search keywords must be Japanese):
curl -H "Authorization: Bearer <your key>" "https://wholesale-api.orosy.com/v1/products?q=%E3%82%AD%E3%83%83%E3%83%81%E3%83%B3&per_page=20"
This is the main part. Go through Steps 1–6 top to bottom, copying the boxed message in each into your AI. Only rewrite the parts in [brackets] to fit your store and product categories — everything else works as-is.
What you're about to do:
All product names and prices in the example replies below are illustrative.
First, confirm your AI can actually use orosy. Send this:
I'm going to practice wholesale sourcing using orosy's "sourcing tools". Are you connected to these tools? If yes, list what I can ask you to do (search products, view details, add to cart, place orders, and so on) as bullet points.
The AI replies something like:
Yes, I'm connected to orosy's sourcing tools. I can:
- Search products by keyword and stock
- View product details (price, stock, images, JAN — Japan's barcode number, EAN-compatible)
- Add selected products to the cart
- Calculate totals with shipping and place orders What would you like to source?
Next: if you get a reply like this, you're connected — go to Step 2. If it says "not connected" or "tools not found", redo "Connect" above.
Search in the category you sell. Rewrite only the [bracketed] part.
Find 10 [kitchen] items that are in stock. The catalog is in Japanese, so first translate my category into a Japanese keyword and search with that. Show the results as a table with number, product name (original Japanese plus an English translation), wholesale price, reference retail price, and product ID.
[kitchen] → your category (stationery, cosmetics, outdoor, pet supplies, and so on).
The AI replies something like:
I searched with キッチン (kitchen) and found 10 in-stock items.
- ステンレスボウル (stainless mixing bowl) | wholesale ¥780 / retail ¥1,200 | ID: abc123
- シリコン菜箸 (silicone cooking chopsticks) | wholesale ¥510 / retail ¥780 | ID: def456
- 耐熱グラス2個組 (heat-resistant glass, set of 2) | wholesale ¥980 / retail ¥1,500 | ID: ghi789 … (10 in total) I can pull up details on any of these. Which would you like to see?
Next: a product list means success — the back-and-forth of finding suppliers by hand just became one sentence. If you get 0 results, broaden the keyword and resend (e.g. "kitchen goods" → "kitchen").
Check the ones that caught your eye, and let the AI help you choose too.
Show me details for 1 and 3 — images, description, size, material, and JAN code. Then, from these 10, pick 3 that would fit [a natural-style general store whose customers are mostly in their 30s]. Give the number, name, wholesale price, and a one-line reason for each.
[brackets] → your store's customer base and vibe. The more specific, the better the picks.
The AI replies something like:
I checked the details. These 3 fit your store:
- Stainless mixing bowl (wholesale ¥780) — clean and simple, matches a natural aesthetic
- Heat-resistant glass set of 2 (wholesale ¥980) — gift demand potential
- Wooden cutting board (wholesale ¥1,430) — builds the in-store atmosphere Shall I build a cart with these 3?
Next: once you've decided, go to Step 4. Feel free to negotiate — "anything cheaper?", "suggest a different 3" — until you're satisfied.
Set quantities and add them.
I want [10] of each of those 3. Add them to my orosy cart. When done, show the cart contents — product, unit price, quantity, subtotal — as a list.
[10] → your quantity. Per-product quantities work too: "10 of item 1, 5 of item 3".
The AI replies something like:
Added to the cart.
- Stainless mixing bowl | wholesale ¥780 × 10 = ¥7,800
- Heat-resistant glass set of 2 | wholesale ¥980 × 10 = ¥9,800
- Wooden cutting board | wholesale ¥1,430 × 10 = ¥14,300 Subtotal is ¥31,900. Want me to calculate the total with shipping?
Next: cart contents shown → Step 5.
Before ordering, check the full order total (product subtotal plus the supplier's shipping fee).
Calculate the supplier's shipping fee for this cart and give me the full order total. Also show the per-unit cost.
The AI replies something like:
Done. Subtotal ¥31,900 / Supplier's shipping ¥3,150 / Total ¥35,050 Shall I proceed to the order?
Next: happy with the numbers? On to the final step.
⚠️ Before you order: make sure your key starts with
orosy_demo_before sending. Orders on a demo key are test orders only — no real charge, no stock movement. On anorosy_live_key, this becomes a real order. Double-check the total and contents too.
If everything looks right, place this as a test order. Once placed, show me the order number and a summary (products, quantities, total).
The AI replies something like:
Test order accepted. Order ID: de300003-… (example) Stainless mixing bowl × 10 / Heat-resistant glass set × 10 / Wooden cutting board × 10 Total ¥35,050 (test)
✅ That's the whole loop — search → choose → source — completed without writing code.
Built-in safeguards:
Copy these and adjust the wording to your categories and your store.
Search and narrow down:
Choose and get advice:
The AI says it can't find orosy's tools — the connection isn't done yet, or the URL / key was pasted wrong. Re-check the URL and Bearer <your key> in your settings, and watch for stray spaces around the key. If it still fails, resend the "delegate" message above and start over.
You get "authentication error (401)" — the key is wrong or revoked. Check the key's status in the buyer portal Developer Settings, and issue a new one if needed.
Zero products come back — search keywords must be Japanese. Ask your AI to translate your category first, start broad (キッチン "kitchen", 文具 "stationery"), and narrow down from the results.
